Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Team FALKEN’s Yoshihide Muroya has placed 3rd in the fourth race of this year’s Red Bull Air Race World Championship, which was held this past July 1 – 2 weekend in Budapest, Hungary. Through our FALKEN brand, we at SRI are proud to sponsor Mr. Muroya, who holds the distinction of being the only race pilot from Asia competing in the Master Class in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2017.
After securing his second straight victory in the third race of this year’s Red Bull Air Race World Championship, which was held last month in Chiba (Japan), Mr. Muroya continued to show off his amazing high-speed, high-precision flying skills in Budapest from the preliminary heat up through the main event placing an impressive 3rd for another podium finish. Thanks to his strong performance in last weekend’s race, Mr. Muroya has maintained his commanding lead in 1st place overall. With only four races left in this year’s tournament, Mr. Muroya is a strong contender for series champion, so we hope that you will continue to watch and cheer him on as he soars toward victory.
Yoshihide Muroya is an outstanding pilot whose hard-won skills have taken him to competitions around the world while earning him widespread recognition on the global stage. Meanwhile, FALKEN is a brand that is well-known throughout the world for high-performance tires developed using the latest cutting-edge technologies. Recognizing the strong compatibility between this remarkable pilot and FALKEN’s own brand image, SRI was pleased to sign a sponsorship agreement with Mr. Muroya in 2015.
